ABOUT US
Laurie Beasley has been a collector of folk art and antiques for over 40 years. In 1998 after 25 years in advertising, she started Ridge Art as a way to transition out of one career into another. From time to time out of her home, she sold a few pieces from her travels in Mexico but a 1997 visit to Haiti convinced her to change her career and her life.
She opened a physical gallery in the Oak Park Arts District and ran it for 12 years. In August 2010 she closed that gallery to

Kimberly Ford
In 2006 Laurie hired Kimberly Centeio Ford as her gallery assistant. Kim is a terrific graphic designer and photographer and is the one primarily responsible for Ridge Art’s on-line gallery. She designed this website and also does our monthly e-letter. Kim is available as a free-lance designer and photographer. She can be reached via email at CenteioSilva@hotmail.com.
